1. The hiring contract shall be between the hirer and the owners of the property (T & P Stevenson) and shall be deemed to be subject to these conditions of hire.
2. A £100 deposit is required to be sent with your booking form and upon receipt we will send you a confirmation of the booking and the agreed price for the hire of the property which is to be paid in full one calendar month before commencement of the hire date.
3. The booking deposit will be refunded within 7 days of the hirers return home, except in the following circumstances :-
4. In the event of cancellation of the holiday 35 days before the date of arrival unless the property can be re-let, in which case you will receive a full refund. In the event that should any damage, breakage or spillage occur the cost of such will be taken out of the deposit and the balance returned.
5. The hirer undertakes to keep the property, along with all furniture, fixtures, fittings and effects in or on the property in the same state of repair and condition that it was found at the commencement of the holiday period (fair wear and tear excepted). Also the same state of cleanliness and good order in which it was found.
6. In the event of complaint or accidental damage the owners must be informed immediately so that the matter may be fully investigated.
7. The owners reserve the right to gain access to the property at any reasonable time, and also reserve the right to terminate your accommodation in the event of excess nuisance or noise to surrounding properties.
8. Occupation of the property will be available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival and vacated by 10 am on the day of departure
9. The accommodation is ONLY for a maximum of four people, but by previous arrangement an extra child under the age of 5 will be allowed. A cot or folding bed can be provided at an extra cost of twenty pounds.
10. No liability is accepted for any loss, damage, sickness or injury which may be sustained by the hirer or any members of the party, nor any baggage or vehicle and contents belonging to the hirer and members of the party. Holiday insurance is advised
11. Pets are not allowed, including those of any guests that may be invited to the property. Neither is smoking permitted inside the property.
